- Each cottage is completely self-contained, fully furnished and equipped.
- The owners are resident on site.
- Electric heating is provided together with an immersion heater, electric cooker, microwave, fridge and kettle.
- Electricity charges are included in the price for Cottage 3 and are payable on a £1 meter for Cottages 1 & 2.
- Digital televisions, with teletext, and DVD players are provided in all cottages.
- Provisions can be obtained from nearby Keswick (3 miles) or our well-stocked camp shop in Braithwaite (1 mile), open April to October.
- Private car parking is available adjacent to the cottages.
- Well behaved dogs are permitted only by prior agreement with the owners (an extra charge of £10 per week will be made).
- A deposit of 50% is payable on booking; the balance to be paid 28 days before arrival (we reserve the right to re-let the cottage if these conditions are not met).
- Each cottage is provided with an up-to-date guide which details all aspects of life in and around Gallery Mews.
- All cottages provide ground floor access and accommodation suitable for less abled persons.
- The cottages can be inter-connected to provide accommodation for parties of up to 12.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
• 2 spaces close to the cottages which can be reserved for disabled visitors and other parking approx 20yds up the lane in our main car park
• From the cottages car park it is a flat surface to the cottages cottage 1 having 2 steps.
• Distance from car park to cottages ranges from 5ft to 25 ft
• gravel surface to the car park with paving stones to the cottages
• Rear access to cars is available
• no barriers, speed bumps just clear access.

• Keys are left in the doors of the cottage but full instruction and help can be available from the gallery owners.
• The path is wide enough for access
• Lighting is around the whole building at night and throughout the night. Cottage 1 and 2 have 2 steps and cottage 3 has 1.
• This is a level site for the Lake District.
Main Entrance, Reception & Ticketing Area
• Cottage 1 has a side acces door ( usually only available for access to cleaning) which can be used as it has a ramp to the main car park for wheelchairs. Any steps are small and not usually a problem for visitors and this is explained fully if neccessary to visitors when they book. Contact with owners available as they live on site.

• Familiarisation tours are available both before booking and on arrival.
• Normal width door entrance. Cottage 2 has double width entrance doors.
